Gift baskets for our troops

So many of our men and women are now serving abroad and can not wait to receive a hand or ready-made gift baskets from home family and friends. Our son was serving his third tour in Afghanistan, and he helped us a list of items to be sent.

Here is a list of some of the most popular military is to reach customers:

- Try your favorite brand of soap or shower gel, deodorants, mouthwashes, toothbrushes and toothpaste, chap stick and send Carmex.

- Zip-LocBags in different sizes to store goods and keep out dust and sand, and large plastic bags for electronics and other large items.

- Long distance phone cards, if they have access to a phone that will dial.

- Single-use cameras are great, so you can take pictures and send them home to develop or develop their own images, depending on where they are stationed, and sent via the Internet.

- Gelatin, gum, Little Debbie or Hostess snack, TootsieRolls, Twizzler and licorice.

- Cookies and snack bar in packs like this, so easy to memorize.

- Smoked oysters and sardines.

- Summer sausage, salami, dry crackers and cheese.

- Jerky, Slim Jims

- Candy bars will melt like chocolate but beware of the seasons.

- Cut the games, inflatable balls, cards, poker chips, frisbee, and nuts.

- Books, magazines,Puzzle books and newspapers.

- Socks blacks for shoes. We found the Hanes Big Target.

I think we get the pictures and the list goes on and on. Be sure to check the shelf life of up to post all the food and take care of the seasons, and where you are and where you're coming. The Post has a large priority mail box, especially for APO and the address of this territory for a very reasonable price and you can fit a lot into it.
